Yirgacheffe is one of the three regions (along with Harrar and Sidama) that the Ethiopian government trademarked to bring recognition to their distinctive coffee. Located in the southern Ethiopia, Yirgacheffe is actually a part of the Sidamo region that has been sub-divided into its own micro-region due to its exquisite coffee.

The Idido washing station is located around 1,940 to 1,985masl and processes cherries collected by local smallholder farmers around the station. The combination of high altitude, fertile soil, and plentiful rain provides the optimal condition for the coffee to develop complex flavours.

This lot of coffee is processed with the addition of ORO yeast, which helps yield an extremely sweet cup of coffee. Apart from floral notes, we taste the flavours of orange, pineapple, and dried plums with an exceptionally sweet and silky body.

Self pickup orders are collated once weekly on Fridays (place your order by Thursdays), and will be ready for pickup on Saturdays.
