Product Enquiries

To learn more about the kopi and coffee blends we offer, please refer to this post that explains the different options available. If you have any further questions, please drop us a Message, or contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Why do you have so many other blends of kopi in-store?
Most of the other blends you see in store are catered to the older generations. Most of them prefer and are used to an inclusion of corn in their blends, as it adds a different aroma despite somewhat diluting their cup of kopi.

However, for the best flavor and drinking experience, we generally recommend our Traditional Blend. This blend gives you the taste that most Singaporeans are used to and love - a strong tasting cup of kopi to wake you up in the morning!

Can I create my own blends?
You sure can, but only in store at Tiong Bahru Market at the moment unfortunately. Please drop by for a visit and we'll be more than happy to help you curate your very own blend. Our address is 30 Seng Poh Road, #01-44, we hope to see you there!

When do you roast your coffee?

(ICYMI, our roastery caught fire back in May and we're currently working with partner roasters who help us roast our coffee.)

We're still trying to find a roasting schedule that works for us and our partner roasters, while ensuring that we always prioritise freshness.

While you may receive coffee that was roasted up to 2 weeks ago, we assure you that:

1. The packing and grinding of the coffee will always be fresh, and to order only; and

2. Coffee develops its best flavours between the 1-2 week mark.

Your orders will also be marked with the roast date, and packed date accordingly.

How much coffee should I use for a cup?
We generally recommend 15g of coffee grounds (~2-3 heaping tablespoons) for each cup (250 to 300ml), for a regular strength coffee. You may use this as a guide and adjust the dosage based on your preference for the strength of the coffee.

I would like to use your coffee for my business or office. Would you be able to provide me with any corporate or bulk discounts?
Yes, and we can also create a blend just for you. Please drop us an email at sales@yongsengcoffee.com or contact us here and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
