Known as a place for quality coffee, Costa Rica is an exciting origin to explore as there are numerous micro mills in the country where farmers are doing more of the processing themselves resulting in many unique tasting coffee.
Our coffee this month comes from the Juan Lopez estate in Perez Zeladon, San José. The coffee here is grown at an altitude between 1400 to 1700 masl, in a mountainous and hilly region. The volcanic soil, as well as cool temperature, allows the coffee to develop wonderful flavours which we are excited to share with you.
In this natural processed lot, we get the aroma of strawberries, as well as notes of strawberries and peaches in the cup, with a candy-like sweetness with a medium body.
