This month, we've decided to feature coffee from one of the most famous region of Ethiopia, Yirgacheffe. Yirgacheffe is one of the three regions (along with Harrar and Sidama) that the Ethiopian government trademarked to bring recognition to their distinctive coffee.

Coffee from Yirgacheffe is grown in high altitudes of between 1,750m to 2,200m. As a result, the coffee cherry grows slower, resulted in a richer and more flavourful bean. Yirgacheffe coffee often have very strong aroma, and boasts citrus and floral notes that makes drinking it a pleasure!

Our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe has a bright acidity, light body, with notes of lemongrass and citrus that reminds us strongly of a cup of home brewed lemon tea.
